First National announces 2018 Award Winners
Sunshine Coast First National Real Estate offices were recognised for outstanding achievement at the General Excellence and Marketing Awards, held at Sofitel Brisbane Central last Saturday night.
The awards recognised the best of First National’s QLD agents throughout 2018, with the top 10 individuals and offices now vying for a national GEM Award, which includes an expenses paid trip to the National Association of Realtors conference in San Francisco this November, for top 10 national award winners.
First National Coastal, Principal, Paul Angell, says the results show how successfully their staff leveraged the network’s customer acquisition strategy to overcome a changing market in 2018, and still deliver outstanding results for clients.
‘Nothing beats hard work and a solid commitment to delivering for customers. That is exactly what our staff did in 2018’ Paul said.
The First National Real Estate offices in the Sunshine Coast had an exceptional year, being recognised for their staff’s individual performance, and their office performance as a whole, across several sectors.
First National Coastal’s Mooloolaba office placed in the Top Ten offices in Queensland for their achievements across all departments.
First National Carolans placed in the Top Ten offices in Queensland for the performance of their Property Management Department.
First National Coastal’s Maroochydore office achieved the highest number of Commercial exclusive listings, settled sales, and Gross Sales and Leasing commission for a medium sized office.
Key staff members were also recognised for their individual performances:
• Narelle Filmer of First National Coastal received an award for achiving the Highest Gross Sales & Leasing Commission, as well as a Platinum award for her performance in Commercial Sales & Leasing
• Michael Kettle of First National Caloundra received a Gold award for his performance in Residential Sales
• Andy Sharma of First National Carolans, Shane Purssell of First National Coastal, and Vanessa Brunton of First National Carolans all received Silver awards for their performance in Residential Sales.
• Amber Hackworthy of First National Coastal received a Silver award for her performance in Commercial Sales.
First National Real Estate’s CEO Ray Ellis said the First National GEM Awards are an important event as they as they encourage First National’s agents to aspire to an ongoing process of performance improvement that benefits customers.
During the evening, a charity fundraising auction was held that raised $10,500 towards Kids Helpline, which is a major new sponsorship initiative for First National Real Estate nationally in 2019.
